Kenyans are proud of their son

Mr. Obama is riding a wave of victory that has made Kenyans to at least forget the troubles at home.
In Kenya the situation is worse and to many Kenyans an Obama win comes with some jubilation and some new topic to discuss. Many of those that are concerned are the youth who see Obama as an inspiration and a role model.

Kenya have proved that she is indeed part and parcel of the international community. The events in Kenya are not being watched by Kenyans in the Diaspora alone. Kenyan neighbors and Africa at large is so concerned and are of opinion that the political instability in Kenya is a defect the whole continent. This has been portrayed by the African leaders who have voiced their concern over the situation. President of Uganda traveled to Kenya to talk to the two opposing camps. Tanzania has its own Benjamin Mkapa, a former president among the eminent persons charged with bringing peace and tranquility to Kenya. The team is headed by He former UN secretary general Koffi Annan

Kenyans are hoping that this shall be indeed be a victorious year for their country. The founding lasting peace and if Obama emerges as the winner, Kenyans shall indeed celebrate even more that Americans.
